Teens
We'd like to introduce our new
Teen Leadership Committee (TLC) Wiki! Although anyone is welcome to read it, you MUST be a member of the Teen Literature Committee and receive an invitation to this space to order to edit any page. It can be viewed by the public by simply following the instructions below. This space holds a PROTECTED Level which means "everyone can view pages, only members of this space can edit pages."
Our TLC Wiki will be a great space for us to communicate, responsibly, of course! It will serve not only as a source of lots of useful information but also serve as a way for members to make suggestions for areas of interest such as the current meeting agenda as well as suggestions for Young Adult book purchases by using the DISCUSSION TAB located at the top of the NEW BOOKS page. Additionally, members could share your creative side by posting your poems, short stories, photographs, and art! If you're not familiar with wikis, not to worry, they are extremely easy to use and you don't even have to check it for new postings or information.
Here are the instructions to sign up. First thing first, you need to sign up (it's FREE) by going to
www.wikispaces.com and just follow the sign up fields. Once you sign up and click on JOIN, sign in and search for "acl-tlc" in the field directly beneath "Public Spaces" on the right side of the page and our wiki will be the first result that appears, now click on the "acl-tlc" link. Once that's done (signing up, locating the acl~tlc wikispace, and clicking on the link to our space), you can either monitor a specific page of interest, for instance, the Local Organizations, by following the prompts on the notify me tab. You can also monitor the entire space, and you'll receive a message in your email with a link that will take you right to the page that was modified.
Any new members, we'd like you to click on INTRODUCTIONS listed on the left side of the site (the navigation menu), click on EDIT THIS PAGE and introduce yourself to us!
