Anniversary Movie Night: the 60s movie "Beach Blanket Bingo" will be shown outside on the library property on August 31. Bring your own chair! The movie will be shown inside in case of inclement weather. All ages. Refreshments available for sale. Register by calling 570.587.3440.
The Abington Community Library is pleased to host a Juried Photography Exhibit by the Northeast Photography Club. The exhibit will begin with an Opening Reception on Thursday, September 2, from 6-8 PM. Registration is suggested for the reception. All ages are invited. 570.587.3440. The exhibit will remain on display until Thursday, September 30. Photos will be available for purchase with a portion of each sale coming to the Library.
Second Saturdays at the Library, an offering of free, live music, will commence at the Abington Community Library the second Saturday of each month beginning on September 11. The Library will engage the services of talented local musicians who play various musical genres to entertain patrons from 1-3PM. The Library will also offer a collection of visual arts rotating monthly.
