Introduction to Computers Series (4 classes)

Focusing on developing mouse skills, computer hardware, navigating in the Windows environment, and opening and saving files. Introduction to accessing and searching the Internet for information, creating and using an email account, and computer security.

Resume Writing

Patrons will create resumes using the Microsoft Word (version 2003) wizard. Participants will need to bring with them all applicable information (education, work histories w/dates etc.)

Online Job Search and Resume Posting

Patrons will search various web sites devoted to job seekers for employment opportunities and learn how to upload their resumes to these sites.
