This building is a true Green Ridge landmark. Located on the southwest corner of Wyoming Ave. and Green Ridge Street, it was erected soon after a charter was granted for its establishment on June 27, 1889. It began as an outgrowth of a group of people who had formed a book club. Within a few years it became necessary to obtain larger quarters. The club sponsored the construction of a building, now the Green Ridge Library building, and erected it at a cost of $75,000.
